After 25 years with us at Josephs… Cindy is retiring.

Well.
Kind of.
Sort of.
Technically. 😅

Cindy put in her four-month notice (iconic behavior, honestly), and just when we were preparing our tissues, Dean(office manager) sweet-talked her into coming in a couple of times a month to “help out.” Because if there’s one thing about Cindy… it’s that she absolutely cannot say no to Dean. After 25 years of friendship they’re basically best friends, with Dean still somehow in charge.

So yes, she is retiring.
But also… not completely.

For 25 years, Cindy has been a steady, brilliant force behind the scenes in our accounting department. She’s the kind of knowledgeable you can’t Google. The kind of kind you can’t teach. And the kind of funny that sneaks up on you and makes your day better without even trying.

She’s also the kind of person who just… showed up. Every day. In a good mood. Ready to go.
In 25 years, we’re not entirely convinced she’s ever had a “bad” day. Always kind. Always fun. Rarely called in sick.

We’ll miss:
• The inside jokes
• That unmistakable laugh
• Her calming presence
• And, of course, her ongoing feud with technology (the computer never stood a chance)

Cindy has built friendships here that will last a lifetime. She’s celebrated milestones, cheered on coworkers, was the life of the party and probably balanced more numbers than the rest of us combined.

When she’s not keeping our books in line, she’s dreaming of a perfect margarita, a warm beach, a good tan, a fantastic book… and keeping up with her grandkids (there are a lot of them — honestly too many to count at this point).

IF you`re wondering why we don`t have more pictures of Cindy....she`s a notorious picture dodger. We searched high and low for photos and WOW. Cindy has been avoiding the camera for 25 years like it’s her part-time job. Honestly, it’s impressive.

Cindy, thank you for everything. The dedication, the loyalty, the laughter, and the friendships. You’ve left a mark on Josephs that numbers can’t measure.

We love you. We’ll miss you.
And we’ll see you a couple times a month 😉 (kind of like Neal Prati)

Faith has been part of the Josephs since November of 2021. She first started in our shipping department, while she was in college, learning the ins and outs of the store from behind the scenes. After graduating, she came right back to Josephs and joined our sales team — something we were thrilled about!

She might also look familiar to some of you. Faith has been the princesses at our Princess Party and has even modeled in our magazine. She brings the same warmth, friendliness, and enthusiasm to every role she takes on.

Anyone who has worked with Faith knows how knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely helpful she is with our customers. Earning her AJP is a wonderful accomplishment and a reflection of her dedication to continuing her education in the jewelry industry.

We’re incredibly proud of her and so lucky to have her on our team. She’s truly wonderful to have on our staff. Congratulations, Faith! ✨👏

Andy has been a bench jeweler at Josephs since October of 2019, and his dedication to the craft is something we’re incredibly proud of. He recently returned from a continuing education course where he spent time refining his skills and learning new techniques to bring back to the shop.
