For the past two years our Marketing Coordinator, Paige Reed, has produced our Josephs Jewelers magazine. This one woman show plans, organizes & writes the magazine. The Josephs magazine takes just under a year to produce and we’re pretty proud of it, with some help from our advertising firm, Flynn Wright the magazine comes out looking like a dream.
Although, without support staff, volunteer models, local partnerships & enthusiastic management this project wouldn’t be what it is.
Josephs Jewelers Magazine Local Vendors
This year we doubled the local vendors we partnered with. A bridal boutique, two men’s fashion clothiers, two women’s boutiques, a car company, hair and make-up artists, and a flower boutique. As a local business that’s been around for over 150 years, we’ve found it exceptionally important to focus on local businesses. We hope to continue finding local businesses to partner with and showcase in our magazines.
- Mr. B Clothing– An exceptional high end men’s clothier (pages 4-5)
- Fontenelle Supply Co– A handmade leather goods shop (pages 6-7)
- Willis Automotive-A premier car dealership (pages 8-12)
- Weddings by Design-A one stop shop bridal boutique with something for everyone in your bridal party (pages 20-27 & all gowns through out the magazine)

Josephs Jewelers Magazine Special Touches
At Josephs, we make it our mission to form relationships with customers. Often times, we see someone come in for an engagement ring and then again for all of life’s special moments. One of the cool things about the relationships we’ve formed is the amount of generational shoppers we get. A great grandson of a customer will buy his engagement ring here because his parents did & his grand parents did. We showcased our #goldboxmoments across four pages, highlighting our customers.
It’s important to build relationships, so when you flip through this magazine you’re going to see some familiar faces. We had eleven employees, a spouse and two children of employees in our Josephs Jewelers magazine. All of whom we are grateful wanted to participate and represent our brand.
Jesse Mason, a salesman at Josephs, volunteered to be in the magazine and when asked if his wife was willing to participate, gave an enthusiastic “yes!”. The couple has been married for 17 years and never did the big wedding or photos. After 17 years together, they finally have the wedding photos they deserve.
BTS-Behind The Scenes
Our photoshoot day is busy. We start hair and make-up at 7am and don’t end our day until after 6pm with our group photo. This day is planned down to the minute, including a short 30 minute lunch & travel from different locations. There’s running clothing back to our partnerships, coordinating schedules, changing hair & make-up, outfit changes and more. It’s crazy, it’s fun, but best of all we get to do what we love…show off some pretty spectacular jewelry.
