The design of this piece is inspired by ikats: fabric made using an Indonesian decorative technique in which warp or weft threads, or both, are tie-dyed before weaving. In 1982, Annie visited Bali and this plate is her interpretation of the first sarong she ever collected. The woven pattern is textured on the glass to imitate the warp and weft weavings. Handmade glass in the USA. Dishwasher safe and chip resistant. Size: 11″ Square.
