The short answer is no. We do not have a license to purchase from customers; we buy our jewelry, diamonds and precious gemstones through vetted vendors. At Josephs we meticulously check all of our merchandise before we buy it. This ensures we continue to offer our clients quality and value; the corner stones of our business. Purchasing from reputable vendors is part of the reason we’re still here after 150 years.
However, we will evaluate your piece for the possibility of a trade in, in our diamond upgrade program. What’s a diamond upgrade program? It’s a program that helps you upgrade your current Josephs diamond. We will buy back your most loved and cherished Josephs jewelry piece and offer you a value towards a new Josephs jewelry piece. This is used as an instore credit towards your new purchase. Diamond upgrades don’t have to be from us, but we will need the lab report or prior appraisal to make a decision. We do this with diamond studs, solitaire diamond pendants and diamond rings.
